From 17.4.1944 to 20.9.1944 Marci served in a forced labor camp with Tzvi Bogen (Keshet). He was among the comrades who found refuge in the bunker on Hungary Boulevard in Budapest. When the bunker was attacked by the fascists, he was standing outside on guard. He shot at the fascists who returned fire and killed him. He died as a hero.
